Alice Gasper

Alice Louise Gasper, 86 of Danville, passed this Life on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the North Logan Health Care Center in Danville. She was born on February 22, 1924, in Anderson, IN, the daughter of Orville E. and Estella Mae (Horton) Ratliff. Alice is survived by her two sons, John (Rita) Gasper of Colorado, and James (JoAnne) Gasper of Danville. Her five grandchildren, John James Gasper, Jason Gasper, Lacey Gasper, Zachary Gasper, Jesus Gasper, and her four great-grandchildren, Danyon Gasper, Jaucelyn Gasper, Jayder Gasper, and Taylor Gasper also survive Alice. Her parents, one son, Claude, and one granddaughter, Michelle, preceded Alice in death. She worked as a practical nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville for 10 years, and also in Hotel/Motel management for several years. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, helping her friends, crocheting, and having her dog, baby around. A Celebration of the Life of Alice L. Gasper will began at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville.
