RIDGE FARM - Alice E. Edwards, 83, of Ridge Farm passed away at 11:30am, Wednesday, March 21st, 2007, at Hawthorn Inn of Danville. She was born to Roy I. and Dora A. (Huffman) Plog in Madison County, IL, on December 19th, 1923. She married Golden Luke Edwards on June 10th, 1966, in Ridge Farm. He preceded her in death on September 28th, 1975. Survivors include: Alices son, Roy (Donna) Kindred of Oakwood and their children, Eric (Julie) Kindred of Tilton, Troy Kindred of Danville, Julie (Steve) Kinney of Westville and Julies children, Taylor Kinney, Riley Kinney, & Adison Kinney; Alices daughter, Barb Hall of Danville and her children, Bobbi Hall of Danville and Bobbis son, Jarrett Williams, Spring (John) Calvin of Danville and her children, Bailey & Braxton, Jessica Hall of Danville and her child, Torrie, and Sarah Hall of Danville; and many close nieces and nephews. Alices parents, her son-Michael Kindred, her son-in-law-Gordon Hall, and one brother-Quinten Plog, preceded her in death. Alice worked for Windbreaker for 28 years and then at the Plastics Factory located in Georgetown. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Church of Christ of Ridge Farm. She loved going to Florida and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed walking with her friend, Teresa. She was a very busy, happy, and loving mother and grandmother. A celebration of Alices life will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 24th, 2007, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown. Randy Downing will officiate. Visitation will be 4pm-8pm on Friday, March 23rd, 2007, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Cherry Point Cemetery, Chrisman, IL.
