Alice Drollinger, 64, of Oakwood, IL, passed away on March 26, 2014 at 10:45 AM at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 6, 1949 in Danville, the daughter of William “Bill” and Maxine (Hopper) OToole. Alice graduated from Danville High School. She married Guy “Pete” Drollinger Jr. on April 20, 1973 in Catlin, IL. Alice was retired from the Vermilion County Court House where she worked as a Deputy Clerk for 30 years. She loved spending time with her family, shopping on HSN, QVC and watching cooking shows. She will be deeply missed by her husband, one son, Russell (Colleen) Prince of Bolingbrook, IL, one daughter, Marcella (John) Miller of Oakwood, IL, one granddaughter, Madelyn Miller of Oakwood, IL and grand dog Buddy James Miller, one sister, Mary (David) Burmeister of Danville, IL, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Maxine OToole. A celebration of Alices life will be for her private family only. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville is in charge of arrangements. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in Alices name to the American Cancer Society or Carle Hospice.
