Alice Dean Cox

Alice Dean Cox, 90, of Stateline, Indiana passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2005 at St. Vincent s Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana. She was born December 24, 1914 in Newell Township the daughter of William and Cora Mae (Linne) Clapp. She married Alfred Doc Roderick on January 24, 1931 he preceded her in death on April 10, 1949. She later married James Earl Cox on May 3, 1952 he preceded her in death on January 8, 1975. She is survived by 1 Son- James A. (Audrey) Roderick of Stateline, Indiana; 1 Brother- Pete (Doris) Clapp of Danville; 1 Sister- Martha Talbert of Danville; 5 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 3 Step Great Grandchildren; and 2 Step Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter, 1 sister, and 3 brothers. Alice was a life long resident of Stateline, Indiana and worked for 32 years at G.E. in Danville. She was a member of Stateline Methodist Church. She loved to fish and was an avid gardener.
