Alec R. Neal

Alec R. Neal, 28, of 35 Country Club Drive died at 3:15 Friday, March 3, 2023. He was born April 25, 1994 in Danville, IL to Tom and Karen Neal, who survive.

Also surviving is his son, Karter (Toni Beirl), of Catlin, IL; sister, Sydni (Cody Sheldon) of Normal, IL; his maternal grandfather, George Knight (Bobbi) of Cape Coral, Florida; paternal grandfather, Billie Neal of Hoopeston; paternal grandmother, Margaret Potter of Hoopeston; his aunts Tenna Neal of Henning, Teresa Neal of Rossville, Tammy Neal of Danville and Kelli (Jim) Agles of Cape Coral along with many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judy Knight.

Alec was baptized at St. Pauls Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Schlarman Academy and a 2015 graduate of DACC with an Associate Degree in Science and Arts. He loved boating, fishing, the Illini, and the Cubs. His biggest passion was riding a motorcycle out on the open road.

Private services will be held for his family. A memorial bench and tree will be erected in his honor at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville is assisting his family with arrangements.
