Alberta Ruth Boen

Alberta Ruth Boen, 87, of Alvin, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 9, 1931 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Albert and Doris (Kiger) Bohn. She was united in marriage to Roy Boen on March 15, 1952, Roy preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Mark Boen of Alvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Mindy Sue Pettice.

Alberta was a loving wife and mother.

A Graveside service will held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Gundy Cemetery in Bismarck, IL. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Iroquois Memorial Hospice. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834, is assisting the family in making arrangements.
