Albert Woods

Crawfordsville, Ind. -- Albert Woods, 78, a resident of Ben Hur Home since June 2005 and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 9:25 a.m. at Ben Hur Home in Crawfordsville. He was born June 26, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Mary Peer Brock and Arthur Woods. Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Butricks of Danville, Illinois; several grandchildren; two brothers, James(Mary)Woods of Cayuga, Indiana and Arthur Woods of Jackson, Missouri. He was preceded in death by three sisters. Albert was a former security guard at a Indian Casino in California. He enjoyed working on crafts, cooking and fishing. Cremation was requested. A memorial service will be held at a later date. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
