Albert R. Hinchman

Albert R. Hinchman Jr., 66, of Danville, passed away peacefully at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville on Saturday September 24, 2016 with his family by his side. Al was born September 19, 1950 in Danville the son of Albert Sr. and Alice Sirratt. He married Margaret Clark and they had three children: son, Derek (Kristen) Hinchman and his children Austin and Aubrie; son, Dustin Hinchman and his children Cidney, Dylan and Parker; and daughter, Ann (David) Edington and her children, Lincoln and Colton; his sisters, Debbie (Tim) Sellers and Vickie (Jim) Klein; and several nieces and nephews. He later married Dianna Newell on December 20, 1997 in Westville she survives. He was blessed with three more children: two step daughters, Kim and Heather Thomas, their children, Keegan and Kylee; one step-son, Scott and his children, Jeremiah, Maria and Breanna. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Michael and David. Al was a lifetime member of Catlin Masonic Lodge #285, the NRA, American Legion Post 51 in Westville, and The Gao Grotto. He was also a member of 40/8 club. Al was a board member of Hyster Credit Union for over fifteen years. He retired from Hyster after working forty-three years there. He loved growing a garden and tending to his flower beds. Above all else, he loved spending time with his friends, family and his dog Shadow. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 30, 2016 at 10am, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 3940 N Vermilion St Danville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday September 29, 2016 4-8pm. As per his wishes, cremation will be accorded and he will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park after his service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
