Albert 'Leroy' Swider

ALBERT LEROY SWIDER Albert LeRoy Swider, 72, of Danville, passed away at 5:48 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Leroy was born on September 3, 1937 in Danville, the son of Anthony and Helen (Cooper Griffin) Swider. On December 15th, 1968 he married Penny Newell Swider. She survives. He is also survived by two sons- Kevin (Wendy) Swiser and Danny Swider; two brothers- Jim (Patty) Swider and Robert Swider; two sisters- Beverly (Jerry) Rouse and Betty (George) White; five grandchildren- William Swider, Veronica Swider, Aren Swider, Clark Swider and Emily Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother- Antone Swider. Per his wishes he will be cremated. A memorial visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church 1632 Georgetown Road Danville, Illinois.
