Albert E. Nosler

Albert E Nosler, 84 of Catlin, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville at 2:48 PM. Albert is survived by his children, Hank (Missy)Nosler of Danville, Alan Nosler, Ron Cox of Danville, Lorie (Thomas) Ames of Catlin, and Brenda (Larry) Ross of Danville; his brother, Leon Nosler of Florida; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia Nosler, his stepson, and his great- grandson. Albert was born April 15, 1930 in Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Albert Nosler. He married Patricia Carroll in August of 1983 in Danville. She preceded him in death November 29, 2012. Albert retired from TeePak where he worked as a mechanic for many years. During his retirement he enjoyed driving buses for Oakwood School District. He also enjoyed bowling and fishing. Albert loved to play Santa Claus during Christmas time at the mall and took pride in having a real beard. Albert was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean Conflict. Per Alberts wishes he will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made in Alberts name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Make A wish Foundation.
