Albert E. Moews

Albert E. Moews, 78, passed away at 4:50am on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Lutheran Life Village in Fort Wayne, IN. he was born on September 17, 1941 in Bloomington, IL, the son of Jacob J. and Neva (Smith) Moews and was lovingly raised by Connie and Rosemary Beightler. He was united in marriage to Sharon K. Dawes on August 20, 1961, until her passing in 2002.

He is survived by his Children, Brian (Diane) Moews of Ogden, IL, Brenda (Frank) Doster of Fort Wayne, IN, Brad (Barb) Moews of Danville, IL; sister, Madeline "Ginger" Applegate of Florida; grandchildren, Eric (Ashley) Wiesemann, Kortney (Matthew) Foreman, Josh Wiesemann, Tyler (Erika Seiberns) Moews and Kaitlyn Moews. Albert was preceded in death by his birth parents, two sisters, and three brothers.

Albert worked at Hyster for almost 45 years, working in many areas and positions through his time there. He cherished his family and loved spending time with them. Albert will be missed by many whose lives he touched.

A celebration of Alberts life will be held at 1:00pm (EST), Friday, June 26, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm (EST) on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, IL.
