Addie Krage

Addie Krage, 85, of Danville passed away in her home in Danville at 9:11 pm surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 2, 1931 in Union, South Carolina to Thomas and Mary Harvey. She married Leroy Krage on July 9, 1948 in Atlanta Georgia. They were married for 59 years. He precedes her in death. Also preceding Addie in death are her parents, four brothers, three sisters, and 2 half-sisters. She is survived by her five sons, Victor Krage, Kenneth (Diane) Krage, William Krage, Robert (Sandy) Krage, and Richard Krage; seventeen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many additional family members and friends. Addie was President of the Danville Chapter of the Ostomy Club for many years. She was passionate about crocheting and knitting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her sons and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed long conversations with her nieces and nephews from North and South Carolina and Georgia. She will surely be missed! A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday September 7, 2017 at the VA Illiana Health Care Protestant Chapel in Danville. Officiating will be Pastor Kent Tibben. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermillion in Danville. Memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
