Ada Belle Johnson 99 a life resident of Danville passed away 1:50 p.m. Friday at North Logan Healthcare in Danville. She was born June 23, 1905 to Jacob Calvin Edwards and Martha Ellen Campbell. She married Forest Dick' Johnson on March 13, 1922 in Danville he preceded her in June of 1968. Surviving two daughters, Dortha Mae (William) Line of Danville, Julia Josephine Test of Champaign, also five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, one infant son John Calvin Johnson a daughter Carolyn Johnson, a brother George Edwards and two sisters Della Massey and Grace Springer also two grandchildren preceded her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville since 1953 as well as the 3M Sunday school class and a member of the Lydia Missionary Circle. Ada also worked in the children's Church with the 4 and 5 year olds class for 13 years. Ada was a homemaker and loved to work in the yard and garden. Her hobbies include quilting and embroidering which she gave many quilts to family and friends
