A. Keith Goodner

A.Keith Goodner, 86, of Danville passed away on Friday November 20, 2015 at VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville. Keith was born in Danville on August 10th, 1929 the son of Fred and Dorothy (Redman) Goodner. He married Doris McCarley on July 12th, 1953. She preceded him in death on March 12th, 2011. Keith is survived by his two children Carol (Gary) Hammes and Nancy Goodner, two grandchildren Cathy (Matt) Savitzky and Greg (Angela) Hammes, five great grandchildren Isaac Cleinmark, Jacob Cleinmark, Baylee Clark, Audrey Meacham and Gavin Hammes, one brother Terry (Cathy) Goodner and one sister Diane (Ralph) Thomason, two step sisters Gladys Joslin and Anna Mae (Jim) Wallen. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris and three brothers; Gerald, Gene and Wendell.Keith was a founding member of CrossRoads Christian Church in Danville and was a Deacon at Old Union Church of Christ. He was in the Navy during the Korean War. A Celebration of Keith's life will be at 10am on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home, in Danville with Pastor Miles Clark officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday November 24, 2015 4pm - 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Keith's name to CrossRoads Christian Church.
